More about Korean Pokémon TCG
What is Korean Pokémon TCG?
Pokémon Korea prints the same sets as Japan, in the same order and usually within a few weeks of the Japanese release. Set codes match too: a Korean SV1S booster box holds the Scarlet ex set that Japan released as SV1S, with the same card list and card numbers, so a Japanese set list works unchanged. The text is Korean and the cards are legal in Korean-language tournaments; in the UK they are collected rather than played.
Which Korean sets are here?
Booster boxes from three eras, as we hold them: VSTAR Universe (S12A) from Sword and Shield; the Scarlet and Violet run from Scarlet ex and Violet ex (SV1S and SV1V) through Triplet Beat, 151 (SV2a), Shiny Treasure ex (SV4a), Terastal Festival ex (SV8a), Battle Partners (SV9), Glory of Team Rocket (SV10) and Black Bolt and White Flare (SV11B and SV11W); and the Mega Evolution era with Mega Brave (M1L), Mega Symphonia (M1S), Inferno X (M2) and Mega Dream (M2A). Each product page names the set and its code.
Why buy Korean rather than Japanese?
Price, mostly. Korean print runs are large and demand outside Korea is thinner than for Japanese product, so a Korean box of the same set is often the cheaper way to open it, and the box follows the Japanese structure of packs and cards. Our Japanese Pokémon page has the same sets in Japanese, and every set we carry is on the Pokémon page. Boxes are factory sealed and posted in a carton sized to the item, same-day dispatch before noon on working days.
