Singles ship in a penny sleeve inside a toploader. Sealed product gets bubble wrap and a box sized to the item, not whatever carton was nearest. "Well packaged" is the most common phrase in our reviews, and we intend to keep it that way.

Near Mint is our default. Every single is checked before listing, and anything below NM is clearly marked in the listing as LP, MP, HP or DMG, priced accordingly. If a card arrives worse than described, that's on us: contact us and we'll sort it.

A card that looks unplayed to the naked eye: clean surface, sharp corners, no whitening on the edges you'd notice without a loupe. It is not a grading guarantee; a grader may still give a Near Mint card an 8 or a 9 for centring or a tiny print line. Every single's page states its condition next to the card details.

Yes, and you don't have to take our word for it. Every Ace Grading slab can be verified at acegrading.com/cert followed by its certificate number, and PSA slabs the same way at psacard.com/cert. Every slab we list shows its cert number and a Verify link, so check before you buy if you like. We would.

Find the certificate number on the slab label and on our listing. For Ace, open acegrading.com and use the certification lookup; for PSA, psacard.com/cert. The grader's page should show the same card, set, number and grade as the listing. If anything differs, don't buy, and tell us.

You've got 30 days from delivery to request a return. Items need to be in the condition you received them, and you cover return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. The full terms are in our refund policy.

Almost certainly not. Factory shrink wrap exists to protect the box in transit, and minor seal imperfections like small tears, split corners or loose wrapping happen at the factory and in shipping. They don't affect the sealed contents, so they don't count as damage. You can still return the item under the normal 30-day policy, but we won't cover return postage for outer-seal marks alone.

You pay when you order, and we ship so the item reaches you on or as close to release day as Royal Mail allows. Release dates are set by the publishers and do occasionally move; if one slips, we'll tell you rather than leave you guessing. Browse what's coming on our pre-orders page.

For heavily allocated releases, we invite existing customers to buy before opening stock to everyone. It's our way of making sure the people who shop here regularly actually get the product, instead of losing the race to bots and resellers. Shop with us and you're on the list. Simple as that.

Yes. Find the same in-stock item cheaper at another UK retailer and send us the link before you order. If we can match it, we will.

We don't run a middleman submission service at the moment, but submitting to Ace yourself is straightforward: cards go off in semi-rigid holders, and code CE gets you 5% off. Everything you need to know is on our Ace Grading page.
