More about 151 Expansion

What is Pokémon 151?

151 is the special set that followed Obsidian Flames, code SV3.5 (set code MEW), released on 22 September 2023. Its hook is simple: the original 151 Pokémon from Bulbasaur to Mew, numbered in Pokédex order, so Bulbasaur is card 001 and Mew is 151. The main set runs to 165 cards, with the secret rares climbing to 207/165. In our listings across every finish: 133 Commons, 124 Uncommons, 51 Rares, 13 Double Rares, 16 Ultra Rares and 16 Illustration Rares, plus the Special Illustration Rares and Hyper Rares.

Which 151 cards do people chase?

The Kanto starters as Special Illustration Rares: Charizard ex 199/165 first, then Venusaur ex 198/165 and Blastoise ex 200/165, with Zapdos ex 202/165 behind them. The Illustration Rare Charmander 168/165 and its Squirtle and Bulbasaur counterparts are the affordable favourites. Because the set is built on nostalgia rather than a competitive mechanic, demand comes from collectors, and it has stayed steady since release.

What sealed 151 product exists?

As a special set there is no booster box. Packs came in the Elite Trainer Box, the Ultra Premium Collection, booster bundles, the Binder Collection, the Poster Collection, the Zapdos ex collection and blisters. Our sealed stock for the set is on this page.
