Magnificent Monsters brings 18 brand-new ‘reimagined’ anime cards to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. You can pull a standard, fully playable Ultra Rare copy of any of the 18 to slot straight into your deck — or aim higher, as all 18 also come in extended-art versions (as seen in Rarity Collection V and Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery) in both Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare. As this set releases after Chaos Origins, its Starlight Rares are the new-look versions with rainbow card borders instead of the previous grey, plus enhanced colours and visibility.

Grand Master Rares are a dazzling brand-new rarity with hieroglyphic borders that will knock your socks off.

Beyond those 18, you’ll find brand-new cards straight from the anime such as Orichalcos Sword of Sealing and Rainbow Bridge Bifrost, new variant art of the hugely popular I:P Masquerena and S:P Little Knight (plus a new card showing them together, W:P Fancy Ball!), and 10 ‘chibi’ variant-art versions ranging from A Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow and Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder to Dark Ruler No More and Sky Striker Mobilize - Engage!

There are also 6 new ‘boss’ monsters — one for each Special Summon type — each a new take on a popular existing monster, from the Nightmare-Eyes Restrict Fusion Monster to Galaxy-Eyes Antimatter Dragon (Xyz) and Crystron Halqifibrax Prism (Link). On top of that, 40 cards are foiled up for the first time (including recent favourites like “Radiant Typhoon”, “Artmage”, “DoomZ” and “GMX”, plus old goodies from Toon Cyber Dragon to Sixth Sense), and a further 40 fan-favourites are reprinted across two card pools.

Like the beloved Magnificent Mavens, Magnificent Monsters uses a ‘slots’ system, carefully assigning certain cards to each position in the pack so you can head straight for the groundbreaking cards.
