Cyberpunk TCG Welcome to Night City is out: Brawls and Showdowns

Cyberpunk TCG: Welcome to Night City is out today, 6 November 2026, in hobby stores. Weekly Night City Brawl tournaments start at approved stores from today, the first Night City Showdowns follow from 13 November, and WeirdCo has a new story mode called Holophone on the way.

What's out today

The retail launch follows the prerelease weekend of 30 October. The two Starter Decks, Embracing Power and The Heist, are each a 40-card deck with three Legends, and both include a set of the six dice you need to play. Welcome to Night City Retail boosters complete the range.

Night City Brawl: weekly tournaments from today

Night City Brawls are weekly constructed tournaments that any approved Organized Play store can run whenever it likes. WeirdCo recommends best of three. You need your own deck, a set of six polyhedral dice (d4 to d20) and a Cyberpunk TCG account linked to Melee.gg, which is where you sign up and report results.

• Participation packs: each store's kit has 64, and each pack holds three random cards from a pool of 18 full-art Iconic Frame foil promos.
• Champion packs: eight per kit, three promos from the same pool, all with a "Brawl Champ" stamp.
• Judge packs: a single Judge-stamped Maman Brigitte: Spirit of Death.

Night City Showdown: 13 November to 6 December

Night City Showdowns are the step up: constructed, best of three, with Swiss rounds and then a single-elimination top cut sized by attendance. Approved stores that applied can host one between 13 November and 6 December, and a second window follows early in 2027.

What changed in the 28 October rules update?

WeirdCo revised the Comprehensive Rules and the Tournament Rules on 28 October, ahead of the retail release. The only card errata are two artist credit fixes, on the base retail Towerfall and the Night City Brawl promo Corpo Security, so neither changes how a card plays.

Holophone: a new story mode

On 7 October WeirdCo announced Cyberpunk TCG: Holophone, which it describes as a new kind of narrative storytelling experience that puts you into the heart of Night City. WeirdCo's narrative team has built it in close collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED. The announcement came with a trailer on the official blog, and WeirdCo has promised more on how you'll play it alongside the card game.

Further ahead, the first European Edgerunner Open Regional is in Warsaw on 30 and 31 January 2027.

The second set is also named: Edgerunners: Burn Bright, built around the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. WeirdCo gives a Pre-Release on 26 March 2027 and a global release on 2 April 2027, with no separate UK date yet.
