Palworld TCG Legends Awaken (BP02) is out on 30 October 2026, and it brings the first Legendary Pals to the Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME. Jetragon, Frostallion and Frostallion Noct lead the set with a brand-new trait, <Legendary>, which caps you at one copy of each Legendary Pal in your base. Bushiroad is also shipping a 2nd Edition of Dawn of Palpagos with a "II" on every card, and Sleeve & Card Set Vol.1 lands on 16 October.

01 · Dates
When does Palworld Legends Awaken come out?
Legends Awaken goes on sale on 30 October 2026. Bushiroad's launch art calls it a simultaneous worldwide release in Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese, so there's no waiting for an English version this time. It's the second booster set for the game, three months after Dawn of Palpagos launched on 30 July.
02 · New mechanic
What does <Legendary> mean in the Palworld card game?
Legends Awaken adds Traits to the game: a small badge under the card type. The first one is <Legendary>, and every Legendary Pal carries the same reminder text.

It's a base rule, not a deck rule. The normal deck rules still apply, so you can play up to four copies of a Legendary Pal in your 50-card deck. What you can't do is have two Jetragons sitting in your base at the same time. Different Legendary Pals are fine together: Jetragon, Frostallion and Frostallion Noct all have different names, so all three can share a base.

Frostallion and Frostallion Noct are mirror images. Frostallion fills your hand and makes everything cheaper; Noct powers up your board and strips your opponent's hand. Jetragon is the payoff for going all in: it turns Legendary Pals in your graveyard into Vigilance and a full re-stand of your Legendary Pals, so rested Legendary Pals are back up and ready to attack or block again.
Legendary support
Bushiroad has already shown cards built around the trait. Foxcicle makes Legendary Pals cheaper, and each Frostallion has its own Saddle Gear that only works with that Pal.

- Foxcicle (Blue, cost 5): Legendary Pals in your hand cost 1 less, and it draws a card then discards one when it's deployed.
- Frostallion Saddle (Blue Gear, cost 2): your Frostallion Pals can't be chosen by your opponent's Pal effects.
- Frostallion Noct Saddle (Purple Gear, cost 2): when your Frostallion Noct is deployed, bring back a cost-3-or-less Pal from your graveyard, rested.

Saya, Marcus, Zoe and Lily
Bushiroad says Legends Awaken pairs Tower Bosses directly with their signature Pals on a single card, and Saya appears in the card game for the first time. Both character cards carry a second trait under the card type, "Marcus" and "Saya", so expect other cards to refer to them.

- Faleris (Red, cost 8, 1100 Power): gets +200 Power for each of your Gear, and when deployed it puts any number of differently named cost-8-or-more Gear from your hand straight into play.
- Selyne (Purple, cost 8, 700 Power): Nocturnal, and costs 5 less from your hand if it's night and your graveyard holds 10 or more Nocturnal Pals.
- Lily's Gambit (Green Event, cost 5): increase your Souls by 10. If you already had 10 or more, stand all of them.
- Zoe's Gambit (Purple Event, cost 6): put every Pal on the field into the graveyard. Both sides.

More Legends Awaken cards revealed
Bushiroad has been revealing cards daily on its official channels. Here are the rest shown so far, with Anubis the pick for players: it gets cheaper for every Pal you control, gives a Pal +500 Power when it lands, and can return to your hand when attacked.

06 · Reprint
Dawn of Palpagos 2nd Edition: what the "II" means
Dawn of Palpagos has sold more than 4.4 million packs worldwide, and Bushiroad is reprinting it. More 1st Edition stock shipped in September, then the 2nd Edition follows in late October. The only change Bushiroad has announced is a Roman numeral II in the bottom right corner of every card, next to the copyright line.

For players nothing changes: a 2nd Edition card plays exactly like its 1st Edition twin. For collectors it's the easy way to tell the printings apart, and once the 2nd Edition is out, 1st Edition stops being printed. Bushiroad's own giveaway for Legends Awaken offers "1st Edition" boxes of both sets as prizes, so it's treating the label as something people care about.
07 · Accessory
Sleeve & Card Set Vol.1
Sleeve & Card Set Vol.1 went on sale on 16 October, two weeks later than first planned. Each set has 75 regular-size sleeves (about 92 x 67 mm) and 10 cards: two copies each of five cards you can't get anywhere else yet, drawn in a black-and-white ink style, with two of the ten swapped for full-colour parallel versions.

The standout for play is Grizzbolt: when it's deployed, it deals 300 damage to every one of your opponent's Pals. Quivern, a Lucky Pal, deals 700 damage to a Pal or Structure of your choice whenever it attacks a Pal or Structure.

The Legends Awaken Release Tournament
Every official Palworld tournament store can run one Legends Awaken Release Tournament between 1 and 30 November. It's not a sealed event: you bring your own deck, and it has to include at least 10 cards from Legends Awaken.
The champion's playmat features Frostallion, Jetragon and Frostallion Noct, and each store gets a second copy to hand out its own way. You'll need a Bushi Navi account and a registered deck log. New to the game? Our how to play Palworld TCG guide covers the rules from scratch.
The bigger stage comes next year. The Masters League 26/27 has a UK stop at Manchester Central on 6 and 7 March 2027, with top finishers qualifying for the World Finals.

Is Legends Awaken worth it?
Our take
The Legendary rule is the right call. Capping each Legendary at one in the base keeps 8-cost bombs from snowballing, while still letting you play four in the deck so you actually draw them. The interesting decks will be the ones running two or three different Legendaries with Foxcicle to ramp into them.
For collectors, the 1st Edition versus 2nd Edition split is the bigger story. Bushiroad has sold millions of Dawn of Palpagos packs, and the II mark means 1st Edition copies are now a fixed supply. If you want sealed 1st Edition, it's worth picking up before the reprint is everywhere.
- ✓You play: the Release Tournament needs 10 Legends Awaken cards, so a box is the easy way in
- ✓You collect: the Legendary Pals are the clear chase, with new artwork for each
- ✓You're new: pair a set of boosters with the Dawn of Palpagos trial decks for a playable start
- ✕You only want one Legendary: buying the single after release will be cheaper than chasing it in packs
- ✕You want the cheapest sealed Dawn of Palpagos: wait for the 2nd Edition stock to land
