Magic: The Gathering, Secrets of Strixhaven

Return to the plane of Arcavios and enrol once more at the greatest mage university in the Multiverse. Magic: The Gathering, Secrets of Strixhaven is the 2026 Standard-legal expansion that sends players back into the hallowed halls of Strixhaven, where the five colleges of magic, Silverquill, Prismari, Witherbloom, Lorehold and Quandrix, guard centuries of forbidden lore. Released on 24 April 2026 by Wizards of the Coast, this set is packed with new legendary creatures, a fresh take on the Mystical Archive, reversible showcase cards, serialised chase cards and a whole curriculum of Booster Fun treatments.

Draft it, build Commander decks around the new legendaries, or chase the serialised foils: the full sealed range is listed below.

The five colleges of Strixhaven

Every mage in Strixhaven pledges to one of the five colleges, each fusing two colours of mana and a distinct philosophy:

• Silverquill (White / Black), mages of rhetoric, poetry and sharp-tongued magic.
• Prismari (Blue / Red), performance artists who wield elemental spells as spectacle.
• Witherbloom (Black / Green), alchemists who draw power from life, death and the swamp.
• Lorehold (Red / White), archaeomancers who summon the spirits of history.
• Quandrix (Green / Blue), mathemagicians who manipulate patterns, fractals and form.
