Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution, Delta Reign is the next English Pokémon set. It's out on 6 November 2026, and you can play it early at prerelease events from 24 October. Mega Rayquaza ex leads more than 135 cards, alongside Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex, and the set brings something the game hasn't had before: two-card Legendary Stadiums.
Here's everything confirmed so far, from The Pokémon Company's own announcements and the cards revealed up to 5 October. We'll keep this page updated as more cards are shown.

When does Pokémon Delta Reign come out in the UK?
Delta Reign releases on 6 November 2026, the same day as the US. From 24 October, select Play! Pokémon stores start selling the Build & Battle Box, which is how prerelease events work.

The four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex

Four new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex headline the set. Like every Mega ex, each one gives up three Prize cards when it's Knocked Out, so they hit hard to make up for it.

- Mega Rayquaza ex (280 HP, Colorless): its Ruler's Roar Ability looks at the top 4 cards of your deck when you bench it and attaches a Basic Energy from them. Storm Emerald does 50 damage for each Fire and Lightning Energy attached to all your Pokémon.
- Mega Golurk ex (350 HP, Psychic): Goliath's Punch hits for 300, but Restricted Activation means it can't attack unless you have 10 or more cards in hand.
- Mega Malamar ex (320 HP, Darkness): Psychic Marionette does 70 for each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon; Eerie Wave does 200 and Confuses.
- Mega Golisopod ex (340 HP, Grass): Finishing Blow does 60, or 220 if the Defending Pokémon is already damaged; Quadruple Hold does 160 and stops it retreating.

What are Legendary Stadiums?
Delta Reign introduces split Stadium cards, the first two-card Stadiums in the Pokémon TCG. Each Legendary Stadium comes in two halves with the same name. You can't play either half on its own: you need both different halves in your hand, and together they're played as one Stadium. Fans of the HeartGold & SoulSilver era will recognise the idea from the old two-part LEGEND cards.
You cannot play this card by itself. You must combine 2 different Legendary Summit from your hand to play as 1 Stadium card.Legendary Summit, 096/103

Legendary Pyroduct is the one competitive players will notice first. Pokémon's own preview points out that it switches off big Abilities in the current format, like Drakloak's Recon Directive, Alakazam's Psychic Draw and Dudunsparce's Run Away Draw. The catch is that it takes two cards to play and can be knocked out of play by another Stadium.
PokeBeach reports there are three Legendary Stadiums in the set. And because both halves share a name, the usual four-copy rule means you can only fit two complete Stadiums in a deck.

The Forces of Nature return
Thundurus, Landorus, Tornadus and Enamorus all share the Incarnate Solidarity Ability: if you have all four in play, they ignore every Colorless Energy in their attack costs. Landorus's Gaia Crush does 110 for a single Fighting Energy that way, and Tornadus can use Corkscrew Dive to attack and refill your hand for free.

The "Sneak a Peek" cards
Pokémon picked out five cards in its 5 October preview. Hypno's Mind Ruler does 20 damage for each card in your opponent's hand. Kecleon's Colorful Whip does 30 for each Pokémon of a different type you reveal from your hand, up to 300 with all ten types. And the Aarune special illustration rare searches out up to three Supporters and Stadiums, which makes it the natural way to put a Legendary Stadium together.

05 · Prerelease
Delta Reign prerelease and the Build & Battle Box

At a prerelease you play with a 40-card deck and four Prize cards instead of the usual 60 and six. Each Build & Battle Box contains four Delta Reign booster packs, a 40-card ready-to-play deck, and one of four foil promo cards: Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus or Kommo-o.

Electivire's Voltaic Hammer does 60 damage for every Energy card you discard from it, and Adventure Lantern fetches a Basic Fire and a Basic Lightning Energy from your deck, so the Magmortar deck has a lot of fun built in. If you can't get to a prerelease, Build & Battle Boxes go on general sale on release day.

07 · The set list
What's in Delta Reign?
The official line is more than 135 cards, more than 20 Trainer cards and more than 35 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations. The main set is numbered to 103 on the cards, with the secret rares numbered beyond that.
Those counts come from PokeBeach's report. It also reports that Delta Reign combines Japan's Storm Emeralda set (released 31 July 2026) with the 30 unique cards from the Japanese MEGA Starter Decks (Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex), the first English Mega Evolution set since Phantasmal Flames to mix several Japanese sources.
08 · Our take
Is Delta Reign worth it?
Our take
Legendary Stadiums are the story. Pyroduct switching off Evolution Abilities could shake up the format, and the two-card artwork looks fantastic laid out on the table. Expect both halves to be in demand from players and collectors alike.
Mega Rayquaza ex is the obvious chase, and Storm Emerald rewards building a whole board of Fire and Lightning Energy. For collectors, the Aarune special illustration rare is a lovely card, and the Kyogre illustration rare in the Elite Trainer Box is a nice extra.
- ✓You want to play early: a prerelease Build & Battle Box gets you four packs and a deck
