More about Crown Zenith Expansion
Crown Zenith closed the Sword & Shield era on 20 January 2023, and it went out on a high. As a special set it was never sold in booster boxes, only in collection boxes, tins and ETBs, which is why sealed Crown Zenith behaves differently to everything around it.
The Galarian Gallery is the reason people collect it. Seventy full-art cards with their own GG numbering, covering the whole era's cast, and consistently the best-liked subset Pokémon has printed. Giratina VSTAR and Mewtwo VSTAR from the Gallery are the headline cards; the rest range from affordable to genuinely cheap.
If you're new to collecting subsets, this is the one to start with. Seventy cards is a real project but a finishable one, the artwork is uniformly good, and prices outside the top few are sensible. Plenty of customers collect the Gallery and ignore the 159-card main set entirely.
Cards on their own: Crown Zenith singles. The era index is Sword & Shield singles, and the era that follows starts at Scarlet & Violet.
