What is Obsidian Flames?
Obsidian Flames is the third Scarlet & Violet set, code SV3, out on 11 August 2023. It introduced Tera Pokémon ex whose type differs from the Pokémon's own, with Charizard ex as a Darkness type the headline. The main set is 197 cards, numbered to 197/197, and the secret rares run to 230/197. Across every finish we list: 184 Commons, 148 Uncommons, 20 Rares, 21 Double Rares, 12 Ultra Rares and 12 Illustration Rares, then the Special Illustration Rares and Hyper Rares at the top.
Which Obsidian Flames cards do people chase?
Charizard ex three ways: 125/197 is the regular Double Rare, 215/197 the Ultra Rare, 223/197 the Special Illustration Rare and 228/197 the gold Hyper Rare. The Special Illustration Rare is the card of the set, and the most expensive Charizard of the Scarlet & Violet era before Prismatic Evolutions arrived. Ninetales 199/197 and Scizor 205/197 are the Illustration Rares that collectors rate, and Pidgeot ex became a competitive staple for two seasons.
What sealed Obsidian Flames product exists?
Booster box, Elite Trainer Box, booster bundle, single packs, three-pack blisters and checklane blisters were all produced. Our sealed stock for the set is on this page; the Charizard demand means boxes move quickly when they come in.
