Reality Fracture is Magic's October 2026 Standard set and the end of the three-year Metronome arc: Jace's attempt to mend the Multiverse finally gives way, and the planes start bleeding into one another. The set runs to 461 cards, is packed with planeswalkers, and its signature idea is the echoed pair, the same character printed twice in different colours, once as they are and once as the what-if version.
Mechanically it brings Empower Jace, which makes and grows a Jace planeswalker token, and brings Prepare back from Secrets of Strixhaven alongside cascade, warp and suspend. Three new token types turn up (Cadet, Heartwood and Jace) and the full-art basic lands connect into a single tower image.
The standard way into a new set: 30 Play Boosters, enough for a draft with seven friends or a long afternoon of opening.
