MTG Star Trek Delays UK: Which Products May Be Late

MTG Star Trek Collector Booster and Play Booster packs on a dark background beside the words Possible delays

Wizards of the Coast says English Collector Boosters, English Commander decks, Draft Night, Scene Boxes and Beam Me Up Bundles may reach Europe, the Middle East and Africa after the 13 November 2026 release. Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs are on track. The notice doesn't name the UK separately and gives no new date, so this is a warning rather than a confirmed UK delay. Here's what's affected and what we'd do about it.

01 · What may be late

Which MTG Star Trek products may be late in the UK?

This is the list Wizards gives for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which is the closest match for UK buyers.

Commander decks (English) May arrive after 13 November
Draft Night May arrive after 13 November
Scene Boxes May arrive after 13 November
Beam Me Up Bundles May arrive after 13 November
Collector's Edition Commander decks May arrive after prerelease, with more after 13 November

One oddity: English Commander decks are listed for after the tabletop release, while French and German decks are listed for after prerelease. So the English decks could turn up later than the translated ones.

02 · On track

Which Star Trek products are on track?

Wizards says Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs are on track for prerelease and release events. So prerelease week can go ahead as planned, and our Star Trek prerelease guide still stands.

The standard Bundle isn't on the list for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The notice doesn't promise it for 13 November either, so treat it as not flagged rather than guaranteed.

03 · The UK

Does the delay apply to the UK?

!Read the word "may"The notice covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa as one block. It doesn't name the UK, give a UK date or say UK stock will definitely be late. Wizards also calls the delays fluid and says it's working to speed things up, so this list could change.

Firmer wording you may have seen online is probably about another region. The 5 November update to the notice adds detail for North America and Latin America only, and those dates and products don't carry over to the UK.

04 · What to do

What should UK buyers do?

1Go to your prereleasePrerelease Packs are on track. If you're booked in, nothing here should change your plans, though it's your store that can confirm it.
2Ask before you travelGoing to a store for a Collector Booster box or a Commander deck? Wizards' own advice is to check with your store or retailer first, so ring ahead.
3Check any existing orderIf you've already ordered from a retailer, ask them for their current date rather than assuming 13 November.
4Pick differently for a fixed dateFor a gift or a game night on a set date, Play Boosters are the safe choice. Our Play vs Collector Booster guide covers what's in each product.
5Re-check the noticeWizards says it will post updates on the same page as new information comes in.

Our take

We wouldn't panic, but we wouldn't plan around 13 November for anything except Play Boosters. The product most people will open first is on track, and a prerelease needs nothing else.

The people who should take this seriously are Commander players and collectors, because English decks and Collector Boosters are both on the list. Give it a little patience, and ask for a date before you hand over money for anything on that list.
